Unemployed. Does that word bring up negative feelings when you read it on a resume? Maybe you think of a lazy person or someone who quits jobs for trivial reasons. While that can be the case for some candidates, it is not the norm these days.
When you gather candidates for a new position, it can be difficult to determine the most efficient way to vet them. Entry-level candidates can be a difficult read during the interview process. In fact, this group of candidates can prove to be difficult to interview. They may be very nervous, especially if this is their first round of job interviews, and they may not be comfortable giving thorough answers or go off track due to being nervous.
Along with an improving economy and a declining national unemployment rate, there’s another positive indicator that bodes well for the U.S. healthcare industry.
As we are still reeling from the recession and holding tight to every red cent in our pockets, small signs are coming here and there that there just might be an end in sight. As people gain more faith in the economy and as employers begin to hire more, spirits are lifting as we hope to see that light at the end of the tunnel.
